More one-of-a-kind
creations, these shawls and scarves are designed to be worn just about any way you want. Most of my shawls and scarves may
be hand washed in cold water, and line dried or dried flat. Some of
the hats contain wool or a wool-blend yarn. I cannot stress enough
that these hats MUST be hand washed, in cold water, with minimal
agitation. Wool felts...that means it shrinks like mad in warm water
and/or in a washing machine. And some of the scarves are 90% silk/10% viscose, and would be happier being dry cleaned. So keep your items looking good--just like you, although these items can be dressed up or worn wild and free, they still like to be treated gently!

"Breeze"
Measuring 22" wide by 98" long,
this floral openwork shawl/scarf reminds me of tropical breezes and citrus fruit drinks with little paper umbrellas! It is made of Lorna's Laces Shepard Sock hand-dyed yarn in the Glenwood colorway. The yarn is 80% Superwash Wool and 20% Nylon. This is a 100% original one-of-a-kind design that will never be repeated in this colorway (and likely will never be repeated at all.) This superfine-weight wool shawl is machine washable according to the yarn directions--but still, I'd hand wash cold and line dry to avoid any picks or pulls in the design. "Splendor"
Measuring 19" wide by 90" long, this shawl/scarf is made of Noro Silk/Mohair/Wool yarn in a deep burnt orange color and brown trim. It is fringed in petite brown and orange leaves.
The overall pattern is reminiscent of an openwork, lacy argyle, as it has been worked in a repeating mesh and fan pattern in a large repeating diamond diagonal within the rectangular shape of the garment. "Hutton"
Measuring 4" wide by 72" long, this scarf is crocheted in a self-striping Noro silk/wool blend yarn. This exquisite long & skinny scarf features a melange of orange, green, gray, brown and coral heathers. It has a fashionable but slight "boa-esque" curve around its long center point as part of the design effect. This scarf is skinny enough and long enough to wrap around your neck several times in truly cold weather, or to wear long and under your jacket hood or lapels in a warmer climate. "Linnea"
Measuring 71" long (across the arms, from wrist to wrist) and 27" wide (from front to back) this might be one of the most versatile shawls ever--for which I must thank artist Cheryl Frarck (who encourages people to see things in a different light). This shawl features a very large natural horn button to one side. When buttoned, the shawl wears like a cape/jacket with a shawl collar! The wool yarn is heavy enough that, when you raise your arms, the garment stays in place on your arms--no slipping off and fighting with this shawl! Crocheted from side to side in a traditional shell stitch of Molly's Farm Hand Spun 100% Wool, and trimmed in Lion Brand Yarns' "Incredible" 100% nylon yarn, this shawl MUST be hand-washed and dried flat. (Put this in a washing machine and you'll end up with a very small and screwy rug.) "Coco's Scarf"
Although named for the legendary
Coco Channel, I would love to see modern fashion muse Coco Rocha
sporting these on a cool spring morning. Made of Ella Rae Shibu 90% silk and 10%
viscose yarn, the scarf measures roughly 68" long by 9" wide--long
enough to wrap around your neck and have both ends hanging in front for
people to admire the crocheted bouquet on the ends. A must-have for
this year's scarf-mad fashions! I highly recommend hand washing and flat drying these silk/viscose items, as instructed on the manufacturer's label. (Cloche style hats in the same colors are available in the Adult Hats section.)
